Dave starts with 6061 Aluminum plate or bar stock, all made in the USA. Each piece is rough saw cut and then clamped into a CNC milling machine. The machine spins a bit and follows instructions to move around and "mill" out the design. After the design is milled on the piece, each one is colorized with fluid pours of epoxy resin into the milled voids or pockets. The resin hardens and the Color Fusions are set. The frames are processed one more time to get a flat and crisp look. Some designs are two sided and the process is repeated on the back. These Color Fusions started as a hobby to see what could be made, that looked a bit like stained glass, but can be made with more intricacies. Now they are being offered to you.
